We offer a professional repair for any flexgate faults with your MacBook. This is common on models from 2017 (A1707 upto the 2019 models). Symptoms are usually no display image (due to no backlight) or a display that turns off once the lid of the laptop is pulled back more than 40 degrees. This happens as the cable was manufactured to be too short which would cause it to bend and crease over the main board over time, which would sever some of those backlight traces. Our repair addresses this fault, removes the area with weak integrity and correctly extends the cable as part of our repair to make for a permanent fix.

Shipping: 
 
Our address will be provided upon purchase. You cover shipping to us, and we recommend you use an insured service that covers the cost of your device in the case something happens to it while in the possession of the courier. We will always ship your device back using the "Royal Mail Next Day Guaranteed 1pm" service.
 
Warranty:
 
This repair is covered under a LIFETIME warranty. So long as the fault is the same as the original (flexgate) then we're happy to take your device back in and repair it free of charge. Serial numbers and video recordings are taken of our repairs for cross examination purposes. We want to make sure you feel comfortable using a premium product such as the MacBook Pro.

Newer models (2019+) are more likely suffering from another issue called dustgate. Unfortunately, this is not a repair service that we offer at the moment. Symptoms include artifacting, pink lines and glitches across the screen depending on the angle it is set to.
